What is
Antenatal Exercise?
Exercises
that are done in pregnancy phase of woman to Prevent Low Back Pain and
enhancing Physical and Psychological Preparation for delivery
called Antenatal Exercise. There
are 3 trimester in 9th Month. 1st , 2nd
,3rd month- first trimester.
4th, 5th , 6th- second trimester. 7th,
8th , 9th- third trimester. At om
physiotherapy centre have a different exercise plan for women for
each trimester.

Tips to give the pregnant Woman
before starting exercises
- Do not exceed 5 minutes of supine positioning
- To always rise slowly when moving from lying down or sitting to standing position
- Discourage breath holding
- Avoid exercise in high temprature
- Increase water intake
- Encourage complete bladder emptying before exercise
- Discontinue any exercise that causes pain
- DO not overstretch muscle
